Hey, I'm Josh 👋  Artist manager, record label A&R, DJ, digital marketer and founder of Somewhere Soul.

I launched Somewhere Soul 6 years ago as a music blog, however the more I learnt about the industry, the more frustrated I become about the lack of support for independent artists. 😤

So through my experience working at a digital marketing agency and an independent record label, I started sharing educational content on social media about music marketing and music business. 📚

The feedback I got from artists showed me that this stuff was really needed so I started putting on monthly workshops around topics such as building a personal brand, getting playlisted, running DIY PR campaigns and growing on TikTok. 🖥

I’ve since gone on to work with music festivals, music colleges, music charities and talent development programmes to deliver talks and workshops to aspiring and emerging artists of all ages. 🎤
